Bishop Akpan and The Demonic political Clan

Few weeks ago - precisely the week Bishop
Samuel Akpan officially defected to APC from
Accord Party - I wrote an article in his defence
when a certain co- member of his political clan
ostensibly sponsored some media marauders to
move against his decision to join the APC. I didn't
rise in his defense because what they alleged was
not true, but because they were not qualified to
attack the Olumba Obu man because demons have
no authority to move against another demon.

Little did I know that it was a strategy by the
Akpabio political clan to seize the APC from the
real owners. Their strategy, as it now unfolds, is to
stop the revolution that started in 2009 by the
progressives in the State.

First, in 2015, the Akpabio clan sponsored Umana
Umana on APC ticket, not to become Governor, but
to stop John Udoedehe . That's why throughout
umana's campaign he was so friendly in his
utterances and moves against Akpabio, the head
and progenitor of that clan. He did not waste
anytime to inform the DSS about any move by
some of his supporters who seemed to be hostile
against Akpabio and the PDP.

The result we all are
witnesses...
Soon after the progressives in Akwa Ibom State
joined others in other parts of the country to
enthrone Buhari as the President, the Akpabio clan,
in their maradonaic style, sponsored Nsima Ekere -
a man who saw nothing good in joining APC- into
the party, using Rotimi Amaechi.

They bribed their
ways to become whatever they want - Goodluck to
all of them!
Nsima, just like Umana, came in with series of
well-scripted blackmails against Senator Udoedehe
and all of us.

He sponsored quislings to spread
falsehood that the former Minister is working for
the PDP; that he took money from Akpabio and
Udom to destabilize APC - the very party he
laboured to build in the country and State.

They went as far as moving to expel Udoedehe from the
party. Nsutó mkpó!
Let it be emphasized that fake ward executive and
fake chapter executive were used for the silly calculation.

Again, when that failed, since it was
obvious that their Amaechi could not help them,
they rushed home to fly the zoning kite....
When the Akpabio clan realized that Nsima Ekere
plus Umana Umana cannot and will not stop
Udoedehe, they brought in Bishop Samuel Akpan.

It is now glaring that the OO Obu evangelist, just
like his forerunners, has no mindset of his own vis
a vis political activism in the state of late, that's
why all of them must get directives from Mr.
Akpabio, perhaps, because of the volume of
'mbiam' they took to seal their political confraternity.

Let it be known, therefore, that every PDP
decampee in Akwa Ibom State APC shares Akpabio
political ancestry. Till today, both Akpabio and
Umana are co-owning some business concerns.
Till today, both Nsima and Akpabio still club
together. Till today, Bishop Akpan is still presiding
over AKPF which Akpabio is the life Grand Patron.

The much trumpeted visit of AKPF members to
Akpabio is one in the series of activities the
Akpabio Political Clan has in store to destroy APC
in their desperate calculation to truncate the
opposition/progressive cause in the State.

I can say without fear of contradiction whatsoever that
neither Nsima Ekere nor Bishop Samuel Akpan
dream of becoming a Governor. Their main
mission is to stop Udoedehe because they know
the Uyo-born maverick is the only one that will
bring sanity to the State and call them to account
for their roles in the polity.
