NSIMA EKERE, THE MAN FOR THIS SEASON

generally believed that the state's greatest need is the enthronement of good leadership that would be able to
husband the vast resources and potentials to launch the state on the path of greatness. It's our inability to elect
for ourselves this kind of leadership that has continued to make us lacking behind other less endowed states in the federation.

All we have had in the recent past were
leaders who misused their privileged positions to rape and loot the state dry.
As we continue our quest to build a truly great and prosperous state, especially in the light of our present socio-economic challenges and indeed leadership failure,
it's wise to begin a gradual search of a better hand for the governorship of the state in order to avoid the pitfalls
of the past.

Come 2019 we must not fail to dethrone the present puppet government in the state and enthrone a truly people's government who wouldn't be cornered,
pocketed and remote controlled by any cabal.

One error we must not make as the 2019 election year is fast approaching is glossing over the political credentials
of any likely contender.

In the charade that took place in
the state in 2015, we watched helplessly as the PDP rigging machinery embarked upon criminal violations of all the democratic ethics to foist their chosen puppet on the state as governor and the consequences is the inept, clueless and rudderless government we are witnessing in the state as the puppet -governor was never prepared nor equipped for the onerous tasks of governing the state.

It's time to begin the search for a good material for the governorship of the state based on certain clear-cut leadership qualities exhibited by a person in his or her public life.

Never again shall an unknown quantity be imposed on us, someone who never had any record of relating with anybody except the cabal that brought him.

NEVER AGAIN.
Some of the leadership virtues we must take into account as we begin the search for a better hand to replace the current inept government in the state in 2019 include a track record of forthrightness, of being good democrat, having proven economic management skills, honesty,
courage and good records of involvement in the politics of the state.

NEVER AGAIN shall any stranger in the
politics of the state be imposed on us as governor of the state.

Come 2019 we shall elect a grassroots politician per excellence as governor of the state.

We have narrowed down our search to H.E.Obong Nsima Ekere,former deputy governor of the state and present MD of the NDDC.

The fact that he is a grassroots politician per excellence who has paid his dues
and is well versed in the politics, people and governance of the state can't be disputed by anybody.

His problem with some elements who have arrogated the powers of God to
themselves is that he's not just so brilliant, but he looks brilliant and talks brilliantly.

Their fears are that if he is elected as governor of the state he would outpace and outclass them.

Within the six months he has been the
Chief Executive Officer, he has demonstrated capacity, style, brilliance and above probity and rare economic
management knowledge.

In business, politics or education, Nsima Ekere's foresight is legendary. He carved a niche for himself in the real estate sector when it was not attractive to many people.

He set up and grew his firm, Ekere and Associates to global standard by dint of hard work, diligence and forthrightness.

As a democrat, Nsima Ekere's credentials are indeed unblemished. Since his entry into politics in 1996 when he was elected and returned as a member of the State
House of Assembly till he smartly resigned his office as Deputy Governor of the state in 2012 when some political vampires moved to kill his political career,
everybody has come to see him as one man that plays by the rules and is always on the side of truth and hence the
large followership he enjoys across the state.

Nsima Ekere's economic management dexterity has seen him founding and sitting atop some of the most successfully managed companies in Nigeria and overseas, which cut across several sectors, including real estate and oil and gas.

As the MD of the NDDC, he has deployed his vast knowledge in economic management to change the story of the Commission for good.

He has blocked all the conduit pipes in the Commission and restored its core mandate. Jobs awarded by the Commission can't be abandoned by contractors again after receiving payments for such jobs and they are executed to specification.

A famously detribalized gentleman, the Knight of John Wesley of the Methodist Church has over the years positively impacted on the lives of thousands of people across the state without making noise about it.

He is adept at creating opportunities for others and genuinely wants to help people to succeed in life.

By our assessment and estimation, he is the best hand for the job and must be invited to join the race for the
governorship of the state come 2019.
