THE RISING OF THE AMBASSADORS THE UNVEILING CEREMONY OF THE NEW DAWN AMBASSADORS

The NEW DAWN AMBASSADORS, a group of intellectuals conglomerating to form an active part of the socio-political landscape of Oro, Akwa Ibom State
and Nigeria at large held her unveiling ceremony on Friday 28th July, 2017 at the famous sky point Hotel, Oron.

A well colored and fruitful event that featured Dr.Abraham Anlak as keynote address presenter also had in attendance Hon. Assi Okor, Mark Effiong, Mrs.
Arit Abraham, Noble Sunday Odokwo (President Oro Int’l youth forum), Mr Iniobong Asuquo amongst others was motivated and interactive in nature.

Charging the youths at the event, Dr. Abraham Anlak who gave a lecture on the topic; Embracing leadership
challenges in a modern society, urged youths to embrace challenges as they come.

According to Him, “Running away from societal challenges is as good as running to the grave” The event also featured presentation of Scholarship to  four Sons and daughters of Oro, courtesy of the managing director of Bokano oil limitd Mr Bobby Onofiok.

The entire attendance rose to their feet when the Ambassadors presented a wheel chair to Master Godwin Edet of Community Secondary School, Eyo Abasi, a SS 2 student courtesy Hon. Assi Okor and also a cash donation to support his academic pursuit by Iniabasi Asuquo ( Chairmanship aspirant Udung LGA).

Also present in the event though represented were Rt. Hon. Nse Ekpenyong, member National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Victor Antai, commissioner for tourism and culture who sent their representatives with felicitations.

The entertainment aspect of the event was raised by Mimi sax, T.W and De-blaze.

Presenting the constitution and the letter of empowerment to the Director general, Amb. Victor Mkpofor by the chairman of the constitution committee,
Amb. Honesty Eyo through the chairman of the event, Hon Assi Okor urged the Ambassadors to live to the tent of the constitution.

He consequently promised to support
the group whenever they called on him.
The D.G in his speech promised to take the group to its permanent site. He said that the group is set for total movement of Oro’s future, Akwa Ibom and Nigeria at large to its next levels.
