WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT GRACE part 2

As we take a biblical glimpse at the Grace of God at work.

It is pertinent to note that without Grace, we do not stand any chance as mortal beings. As such, the Grace of God redeems us because we cannot save ourselves.

Grace is therefore for the unworthy and is only found in Christ Jesus. Let us consider how Grace was dispensed by God in the very beginning.

'God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually' Gen6:5.

As a result of these grievous sins and abominations, God was determined to wipe our the entire world.

Man, creeping things, beasts and fowl of the air were to be completely destroyed from the face of the earth.

Indeed, God regretted that He had created them. Nevertheless, amidst all of these horrible sins and darkness that prevailed, Grace was found! Grace amazingly emanates from the eclipse of total darkness and hopelessness which prevailed. 'But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord' Gen6:8.

The astronomical act of Grace marked a historical turning point in man's existence.

'Behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you' Gen9:9.

Grace has redeemed mankind and given us the chance, the hope and the future that we need in Christ.

May I ask you to take a second to say this simple prayer. Dear Lord, thank you for your love.

Thank you particularly for your Grace, without which I stand no chance. Help me to show you my appreciation by doing only your will daily and by loving you with all of my heart. '

THAT AS SIN HATH REIGNED UNTO DEATH, EVEN SO MIGHT GRACE REIGN THROUGH RIGHTEOUSNESS UNTO ETERNAL LIFE BY JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD ' Rom 5:21.
