WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT GRACE part 1

A good place to begin will be by asking the poignant question, what is Grace? First, it is pertinent to understand that Grace is the most important concept in the bible. A simple definition of grace is Gods unmerited favour.

Grace is an acronym to Gods Riches At Christ's Expense. Every believer must understand that Grace is a gift of God and without Grace, no one can live a good life. In its simplicity, Grace is when God does things for us that we do not deserve.

In other words, Grace is the love of God expressed to the unlovely. It is the peace of God given to those without peace and hope. Grace is God reaching down to those who rebelled against Him! Because of Grace, we are able to receive eternal life and a place in heaven that we certainly do not deserve.

We can see therefore that Grace is expressed in the promises of God and it is embodied in Jesus Christ. Grace is thus a vital necessity for Salvation. Grace and Mercy are interwoven together and is best seen as a coin with two heads.

We shall be discussing about Mercy in subsequent lessons. Grace is best understood against a background of sin, brokenness and suffering. We will focus on this in details in due course.

One thing that every believer must never fail to do is to constantly thank God for His grace for mankind.

The composer of the famous song 'Amazing Grace how sweet the sound' Ragtime Annie, must have had a divine revelation from above either knowingly or unknowingly.

The concept of Grace is simply beyond man's comprehension. Grace saves the wretched and makes the blind see! Without Grace we can do nothing.

You are alive today due to His grace. You are reading this article today because of His Grace and Mercy. Thank goodness for the Grace of God! May I ask you to please pray that His Grace will be sufficient for His children.

Pray that God will give His children the Grace to do the work they need to do to merit their way to heaven.

'MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR THEE: FOR MY STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS' John12:9. God bless you all.
