HON. OKU WADES INTO THE RIFT BETWEEN AKISIEC AND AD HOC STAFF IN UDUNG-UKO

The hitherto unpaid AKISIEC ad hoc staff in Udung-Uko Local Government Area can now heave a sigh of relief as the Executive Chairman & Chief Security Officer of the area, Hon. (Elder) Okon Esin Oku, wades into the matter.
Recall that the Udung-Uko AKISIEC boss had for certain unthinkable reasons not been able to pay duty allowance to the 29 ad hoc staff engaged by the ...commission during the conduct of the 2nd Dec., 2017 Local Government Polls in the area.

Hence, in a bid to end the impasse, the Council boss, Hon. Oku,  yesterday (September 11th), graciously approved and effect the release of funds to the tune of TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY THOUSAND NAIRA (#290, 000=) to boost the economy of those concerned as they smiled home with TEN THOUSAND NAIRA (#10, 000=) each.

Speaking through his Chief-of-Staff, Comrade John Onukak, Hon. Oku, commended the affected beneficiaries for their patience and understanding, while also chiding the AKISIEC boss for such thoughtless pranks and unprofessional conduct. He thereafter, restate his administration's resolve to ensuring that 'first line charge' and other begging issues are as a matter of priority given prompt attention.

Also, speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Comrade Samuel Okpo, commended the wisdom and the prompt intervention of Hon. Oku, for rising to the occasion and once again, putting smile on their faces.

To God be the Glory!
