THE INT'L PRESIDENT OF ESSU NLAP-ORO, Ulap.(Hon) Great Edemumoh DISSATISFIED WITH WE CONSTRUCTION LTD, ON THE QUALITY OF ORON ROAD, ORON.


At about 10am this morning, the International President of ESSU NLAP-ORO, Ulap. Great Edemumoh reassured the good people of Oro-Nation of his readiness to partner the people as well as the government to eradicate shady job in our fatherland.
The International President who received a call from a concerned indigene of Oro visited the site of rehabilitation yesterday to confirm the information in which he was dissatisfied with the level of compliance with the specification.

Ulap. Edemumoh, who was accompanied by members of his executive committee inspected the ongoing alphalting of the only Oron access road, where they met with contractor handling the work. The president who expressed serious concerns over what he described as poor performance, while inspecting the work, handed down the feelings of Oro's apex body which he said was below expectation in most areas of the road notably the points linking Oron Road with Stadium Road, Akilo and Aba Streets.

The president emphasized that, the quality of job in those joints, is not acceptable to Oro people. Thus, he advice the site engineer to amend the work done in those notable points. He further stressed that if the work is not technically corrected within fews days, that the youths will have no choice than to resist every suicidal attempt against Oron-Nation to further underdeveloped Oro race.

That standards have been set generally in Akwa Ibom State and those standards must be maintained by whoever is constructing roads in Oro. The ESSU NLAP-ORO as apex sociocultural youth organization under his leadership is not willing to accept substandard jobs by any contractor, either in the rural area or at the urban center. He however, plea with the youths to remain calm,  while urging the contractor to expedite action to ensures that correction effected on the poor joining, linking Stadium Road, Akilo and Aba streets stating that the inspection team has to be invited by the contractor to assess the job before they would be satisfied.

On a final note, Ulap. Great Edemumoh used the medium to admonished the traders at ORON Main Market to always clear your water channels, the and evacuate refuse as when due to avoid flooding during the wet season and to maintain hygienic environments for health living. He appreciate the Executive Governor, Deacon Udom Emmanuel for the promised kept to reconstruct the Oron Road and for his visionary leadership to put the state on the path of industrialization.
