Mother of all Receptions!!!

On Monday, July 10th, 2017, Nigeria's fourth largest ethnic group, Ibibio Nation will accord Governor Udom Emmanuel the deserved honour in view of his sterling performance in just two years in office, likewise endorse him ahead-of 2019 general elections.

It will be recalled that, the erstwhile governor of the state and current Senate Minority Leader, Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio got endorsement for a second term in office during a similar reception by the Ibibio Nation on October 10, 2009.

The event which will have a former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Nsikak Eduok as the Chairman of the occasion and former governors, Obong Victor Attah and Senator Godswill Akpabio as Special Guests, will also attract eminent personalities from all over the State and Nigeria, including political associates of the governor, captains of industry and a coalition of other socio cultural groups, women groups and youth organizations, traditional and religious leaders, students groups and members of the Peoples Democratic Party from all over the country.
