WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT GRACE part 3

As we take a further look into the grace of God at work in the life of an individual.

The Grace of God not only redeems, it also reforms. Note that Grace is found in non other than Christ and it is obtained only through faith. A great example of Gods reforming power of Grace is seen in the life of Apostle Paul. Known formerly as Saul, Apostle Paul did everything within his power to stop the growth of Christianity.

He went from house to house dragging off children, men and women and putting them in jail. Apostle Paul was so zealous in all that he did that he went to the religious leaders to obtain a letter to go to Damascus in order to persecute the Christians over there.

Amidst the darkness and terror which prevailed at that period in time, once again Grace found its way through. On the road to Damascus, Saul as he was then known saw a bright light which blinded him, transforming him into a new man.

The new man Paul was thus birthed through Grace. His enthusiasm and zealousness was to be utilised in a positive way to advance the gospel.

'..by the grace of God I am what I am; and His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain: but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I but the grace of God which was with me' 1Cor15:10.

Note how Apostle Paul acknowledged the Grace of God in his life. It is important to note that Gods grace working in us provides the sufficiency to enable us abound to every good work.

May I ask you to please pray that Gods Grace will work through every believer to provide the sufficiency that is needed unto every good work.

Pray that His children will experience His grace in their lives.

'AND GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE ALL GRACE ABOUND TOWARD YOU; THAT YE, ALWAYS HAVING ALL SUFFICIENCY IN ALL THINGS, MAY ABOUND TO EVERY GOOD WORK' 2Cor9:8.
(A point of correction to our publication of part 1 of this lesson, note that the concluding scripture quote is Cor12:9) God bless you all.
