Autobiography of Bishop Ulap Etim Ante @ 50
The young Nsoh as he is popularly called started business at the age of 13.
In 1988, at age 20, he was already a millionaire, married, built his first house.
He built his first filling station in 1989 while he bought his first car in 1991. He got registered with Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, in 1996 with the company name Nsoh Petroleum Limited.
After securing bulk purchase agreement with the Government through PPMC Limited in 1998 to commence full operation, he was elected Assistant Secretary, IPMAN, Port Harcourt Depot in 1999.
He became Member, Petroleum Product Allocation Committee, Port Harcourt Depot in 2000 and IPMAN Secretary Akwa Ibom State in 2006.
His community wasn't left out when he served as National Treasurer, Ebughu Youth Development Association, 1991-1993.
Nsoh became the President General of Mbo Youth Movement, 1998-2000.
Pioneer President General, Oro Youth Movement, OYOM, a position he held for the period of 10 years. 1999-2009.
Apostle Ante then assumed greater responsibility when he was appointed Transition Chairman of Mbo Local Government in 2003.
He was the Pioneer International President of Essu Nlap Oro, 2009-2014.
He was appointed Special Assistant to Former Governor Godswill Akpabio on Youth Matters.
During his leadership, many oil companies like Mobil, Elf, Muni Pulo, Addax were brought to justice to negotiate with Mbo and Oro nation.
He fought for the strengthening and sanitization of Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron, by uprooting the tyrant Administrator, Engr. Olu Akinsoji.
The era that was described as Maritime war.
Bishop Ante has secured projects for renovation and construction of over 30 classroom blocks across Oro nation.
It was this project that gave Mainland Technical College, Oron, its present status.
Many young men were empowered to drive cars.
build houses. He secured slots for over 20 Oro youth to be trained in different fields.
Under Bishop Etim Ante Foundation, many Oro youth have been empowered, Clergymen and Royal Fathers have been given seven cars on a personal capacity (September 25, 2014).
Available records show that Bishop Ante has provided three permanent buildings for three people respectively.
In his quest to protect investment in the territorial coastline, Ante has undergone different training in safety.
As a man in charge of operations (Project Facilitator) in Tank Farms, he is well equipped as Security Marine Expert with International Ship and Port Facility, ISPS code, established by International Maritime Organization and coordinated by NIMASA.
Bishop Ante is the MD/CEO of Brave-Tact Global Shore Guards.
He holds a Diploma in Political Science/Public Administration, University of Uyo.
LLB in view, National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN, and a student of Journalism, International Institute of Journalism, IIJ, Uyo.
Bishop Ante is married to Deaconess Comfort Ante and the marriage is blessed with children.
