Dwellers of Ukpong/Effiong Essang streets counted it all joy as they hosted a team of engineers from Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Works, ably led by Engr. Etuk, in the early hour of today, 24/08/2018.

itated by the Secretary to Oron LGA Council, Hon. (Elder) Anietie Okon, was indeed a big relief to the people who have suffered immensely from the poor road that disconnected them from the outside world.

The said roads have become nightmares to the inhabitants of these streets for more than two decades, hence, making life unbearable for everyone, especially during rainy season. Severally, past efforts by the people to draw government attention to these roads proved abortive. So, today's inspection offers big hope to the people.

Anietie Okon for the job well done, I would like to urge the government to treat these projects as a matter of urgency.
